As a Black Utilities Engineer, you’ll play a key role in projects such as designing the cooling systems for clean Rooms or managing complex utility operations at farmaceutical clients. Your expertise will help to create the essential infrastructure that powers these landmark developments, ensuring efficiency and sustainability in each design. You’ll collaborate with a diverse team of professionals dedicated to pushing the boundaries of engineering to meet the demands of a modern, sustainable world.
Are you ready to contribute to transformative projects that leave a lasting impact?
- Technicalities: you’ll be responsible for overseeing the critical black utility systems, including cooling systems, steam, compressed air, and gases. You wil be acting as the work package owner within utility project teams. Installing and supervising clean/black utility systems. Executing and overseeing FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) and SAT (Site Acceptance Testing). Collaborating with project managers and suite team leads to define the scope and boundaries within the facility footprint. Developing and maintaining project schedules for the delivery of black utilities. Reporting on and administering utility interface costs within overall project budgets. Creating and implementing execution strategies for utility systems delivery. Facilitating engineering and user requirements for utility systems.
- Coordination and communication: you'll be coordinating project job specifications with architects/engineers (A/E), construction management firms, contractors, and end users. You combine a good level of English with a profound knowledge of Dutch or French
What we are looking for in a Black Utilities Engineer
- Experience and Expertise: At least 5 years of experience in managing utility systems.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with utility systems like steam, compressed air, gases, and cooling.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to develop effective strategies to manage utility system design and installation.
- Communication Skills: Strong collaboration skills, both internally within the project team and externally with contractors and clients.
- Leadership: Proven ability to take ownership of project work packages and deliver results.
